In 1525, William Tyndale (died/martyred October, 1536) translated and printed the first English New Testament.

In 1535, Myles Coverdale translated and printed the first complete English Bible.

In 1537, John Rogers brought the best of Tyndale and Cloverdale together in the “Matthew’s” Version.
