An Illustrated History of How We Got the Bible

The Bible is a truly unique book.  It is unique for several reasons. One reason for its uniqueness is because so many people have died for this book.  Just for the book itself.  It is also fascinating that so many people would kill other people because of this book.  If you are willing to die or kill for something, then that something must be important to you. What could make someone die for a book? Or kill for a book?  What makes the Bible so unique?

To examine its uniqueness, this presentation follows the development of the book we today call the Bible from its earliest origins as scrolls. The following slides use actual scrolls and books to illustrate how we got the Bible.
